Yard Signs

If you are newly admitted to RHC this year and have not received your yard sign, please see Mrs. Wrenn in G-10.

Governor’s School

Sophomores and Juniors, now is the time to apply for Governor's School. This four-week program will be held during the summer. It's an amazing opportunity to learn more about your areas of interest, to meet students with a similar interest, and to get a feel for life on campus. It will look great on your resume, but it's also something that you'll remember for the rest of your life. And the best part is that most of the Governor's Schools are free! You can find the application HERE

See Mr. Truax for more information. The deadlines begin in November, so don't miss your opportunity!

Remember, grades for the entire year count toward your GPA. You all did a great job last year. Let’s keep the momentum going this year.

The Riverdale Honors College will hold the induction ceremony for members admitted in May and August on October 19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the James Union Building at MTSU. All current and new members are expected to attend. RSVP Here

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who donated sodas and snacks for our Pigout booth. The funds raised by this and other events throughout the year will allow us to continue to provide programs that benefit all of our members

We need juniors and seniors to assist at the induction ceremony. If interested, contact Mrs. Cerchiaro at cerchiarok@rcschools.net.

Community Service

All RHC students are required to complete 20 hours of community service. These hours should be added to the reporting form when they are completed. This is the LINK. Make sure you include signed confirmation (IN INK) for your hours. If for some reason you cannot attach the document, feel free to give it to Mrs. Boyd in room E6. Mrs. Boyd will be posting a summary of your completed hours outside her door regularly. Ms. Peck, Ms. Jones, Ms. Rhinehart, and Dr. Tennyson will also have this information posted. Service hours must be completed and submitted by April 30.

Seniors, if you do not complete your community service hours by April 30, you will not receive a graduation cord. All other students not completing service hours will be placed on probation. Hours must be made up by the end of the first quarter of the next school year.

Parents: You cannot report hours on behalf of your students. They must report their hours using THEIR school Microsoft login. Any hours reported by anyone other than the student will be deleted.

If you need ideas for community service, check out the Honors College webpage here and the TN Achieves website here.

REMINDER:

YOU MUST get confirmation of the time you worked AND complete the reporting document online. SPONSORS are not going to complete this for you - they only sign the confirmation sheet. If you don't complete the form at this LINK your hours will not be counted.

Community Service hours will be posted after fall break.

IF YOU ARE ON PROBATION FROM LAST YEAR, make-up hours must be completed and reported by the end of fall break in order to remain a member of RHC.
