Ashley Fears

Staff Spotlight

Ashley Fears is an English III and Special Education teacher here at Riverdale. Ms. Fears is an amazing teacher who is always willing to step in and help out in every way possible. She works hard for her students and to support her co-teachers. Her strength is found in her ability to be adapt to her situation and work with empathy and enthusiasm. She is a strong leader in our school. The students love her, and she makes class better just by being in it. We are very lucky to have her teaching at Riverdale.

Student Spotlight

Joselyn is a very helpful and warm-hearted student. She has a sharp wit but is very kind to new students and anyone in need of help. She is a great peer tutor in the ESL program. As a bilingual student, she supports new students as they come to Riverdale to help them have a smooth transition and to make Riverdale their new home. She can often be seen out and about helping new students learn about Riverdale. Joselyn is always willing to help anyone who asks. One teacher stated that Joselyn is “spunky, fun, and a pleasure to have in class!” She is a great example to other Riverdale Warriors.
