Taylor Mintz

Staff Spotlight

Taylor Mintz is a PE teacher and softball coach at RHS. Coach Mintz has worked incredibly hard over the last year and a half since coming to RHS to make her classroom, the gym, her team, and RHS as a whole a great place to be. She is extremely reliable and is a great coworker to have in the building. The relationships that she’s built with her students and players are very admirable and should be an inspiration to others around her.

Student Spotlight

Taylah is a member of both the track and volleyball teams. She is an exceptional student-athlete. During volleyball season this year, she maintained a 4.0 GPA while earning All-District Honorable Mention Honors. Taylah has always led with a huge smile on her face. She is an example for younger student-athletes in how to excel in both academics and athletics. She is a member of the Youth Leadership Rutherford Class of 2024 and was selected as this year's Homecoming Queen. Her high moral character, demeanor, and hard work ethic are what we want students to strive to attain.

Riverdale was represented well at the recent Middle Tennessee Vocal Association's Midstate Honor Choir. Jazmin Enriquez-Cruz, Jamie Hiatt, and Sierra Risinger were all selected after a very competitive audition process. The event, which took place on November 13-14, was held at Belle Aire Baptist Church, and these three sang along with over 350 other vocal students from all over Middle Tennessee. The concert was absolutely stunning! Congratulations, Jazmin, Jamie and Sierra!
