Kim Cerchiaro

Staff Spotlight

Kim Cerchiaro teaches English III and AP Language for RHS. She is an extremely caring ​and committed educator. Her commitment to each student's success goes beyond the ​classroom, as she takes the time to understand individual learning styles, strengths, ​and areas of improvement. Mrs. Cerchiaro has created a safe and supportive learning ​environment, where students feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. ​She is an asset to our Warrior faculty and students.

Zoe is a diligent and hard-working student with an unwavering dedication to excellence. She is ​not only an excellent student, but she is always willing to assist her peers where needed. Her ​positive demeanor and eagerness to engage in class activities further underscore her pleasant ​and proactive approach towards academic endeavors. This commitment extends beyond the ​classroom to her involvement in Riverdale's Raider Team. Zoe's exemplary behavior as a ​student reflects the values of a true Warrior.

Donations ​needed

We have opened a free store for ​our students that are in need. ​We have items such as ​toiletries, feminine products, ​toothpaste, school supplies, ​backpacks, and snacks ​available. If you would like to ​make a donation to our

"Hotel-Motel" store, you can ​bring these items to the front ​office between 7:45 and 4:00. ​Thank you.

If you need community service ideas, check out the ​TN Achieves (TN Promise) Community Service Ideas ​page. These hours will count toward your TN Promise ​requirement and may also count toward other school ​organization requirements.

Information for Seniors

The graduation date is Friday, May​ 17 at 7:00 p.m. Graduation will ​take place at MTSU's Murphy Ce​nter. Practice will be on Friday​ morning from 8 to 11. Attendance​ at practice is mandato​ry.

Attention Parents

On January 10th we held meetings with our ​seniors where we reviewed some important ​information related to graduation. Your ​senior obtained the relevant documentation ​and a form that requires signatures from the ​student and parent. If your senior has not ​discussed this meeting with you yet, please ​inquire about it as soon as possible. We ​would appreciate it if you could sign the ​forms and have them returned to your ​student's English teacher at your earliest ​convenience.

Skills USA Competition Results

Congratulations to Alexis Britton on achieving first ​place in the cosmetology division at the Midwest ​Regional Skills USA competition. Alexis has earned ​a spot to compete at the Skills USA State ​Convention in Chattanooga this coming April!

The Criminal Justice Crime ​Scene Investigation Team ​received third place at our ​Regional Completion earlier this ​week.

Try Paper

Paper is a free tutoring service ​open to all Rutherford County ​students. The tutors at Paper ​provide homework help, writing ​support, and ACT Prep support. ​They also have tutors that speak ​multiple languages.

Swim Team News

Last week, the swim team participated in the county championships with great results:


Our boys' 200 free relay secured 3rd place.

Our girls' 400 free relay achieved 2nd place.

Notable individual achievements include:


Austin Davis placed 3rd in the 50 free and 1st in the 100 free, earning a state cut in the 100 free.

George Ebrahim earned 2nd place in the 200 free and state cuts in the 200 and 500 free.

Grace Secker secured 3rd place in the 100 free and 2nd in the 500 free, also achieving a state cut.

Hannah Secker obtained 3rd place in the 200IM and 1st in the 100 Breaststroke.


These are just some of the standout performances. Our team excelled in more than half of the events at ​finals.
